Balázs Sebők and KalPa were back on the ice for their second game of their Champions Hockey League campaign.
With the way the CHL group stage draw was set up KalPa played their first two games against Swedish club Skelleftea AIK. In the first game KalPa lost on home ice and were hoping to pick up their first point of the CHL on the road in Sweden.
KalPa came up on the wrong end of a 4-0 score, “I feel that the post game statistics did not accurately reflect the game. It was a close game but we got tired in the end and we had two goals scored against us quickly.” said Balázs Sebők who was playing on the second forward line. “The better team won the game, last we maybe we were better but still came up on the short end. We still have two games left in the group stage, so everything is still possible. If we do our best then I think we will be able to advance to the next round.”
KalPa has two games left against the Vienna Capitals that they need to win if they want to advance to the knockout stage.
